In the top 10 of the most used navigation applications, Moovit continues its road to intermodality! Indeed, Lime has just announced a partnership with the Israeli application, in order to integrate its scooters and bikes.
117 cities, in more than 20 countries
With one billion users, Moovit is now one of the most used urban mobility applications in the world. After BlaBlaRide and Cityscoot in France, Beryl on the UK application, Moovit has understood that integrating shared micro-mobility services has become essential for its users.
From the next week, Moovit users in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States will be able to locate the nearest Lime scooter.
Indeed, once logged on to the application, in the “Stations” menu, they will be able to find the Lime scooters nearby. And if they want, they can make a reservation by being redirected to the Lime app.
A real desire to move towards MaaS
Despite the arrival of new players in the mobility sector, this partnership between these two giants confirms this new trend of MaaS. Consisting of an application that brings together many transport modes within the same platform. And route planning applications are well aware of this. As an example, Moovit is now connected to more than 360 shared services and micro-mobility providers, including taxis, VTCs, micro-mobility and shared services.
