“Take advantage of Leo+, the new in-station service from Leo&Go and reserve Tesla 3s for a 100% electric ride in comfort.” This is the new indication that you can find the Leo&Go app page on Google Play. Indeed, since January 19, 2023, the Lyon-based car-sharing service has made Tesla cars available in the underground parking of the Westfield La Part-Dieu shopping center in Lyon. These 5-seater vehicles have a range of 490 km and a trunk with more than 600L.

The launch of the Tesla station is just the first step. We will continue to develop our carsharing offering in the coming months. With the launch of LEO+, Leo & Go becomes a complete shared mobility platform providing access to a dense fleet of vehicles, both on-street and in stations

To use them, users will have to pay no less than 99 € per day. The only constraint is that they must be used for at least 4 hours and up to 30 days. A reservation can be made directly via the Leo & Go application, including insurance and recharge.

Strong growth in demand

This new offer reflects the popularity of these eco-responsible solutions. Indeed, more and more users are opting for electric vehicles for short stays. Alternatives to the car quite important in a context where the energy crisis is becoming more and more important. According to an internal survey conducted in November 2022, nearly 52% of the users of the application admit to having renounced the purchase of an individual vehicle since they use their service.

The CEO of Leo & Go is very pleased with this trend, announcing the development of the car-sharing offer in the coming months, with new models of vehicles. In addition, at the same time, the Lyon-based company assures that it will continue to collaborate with local authorities to enable users to easily find parking spaces for their free-floating vehicles.
