Mercedes expands on-board parking payment in Europe

Called “Parking for Navigation”, the feature is available on models with the MBUX infotainment system. An innovation that now allows you to pay for and access more than 80,000 parking lots. With the possibility of pre-booking a parking space in Germany, France, Italy and Belgium. Once paid, the motorist will be able to access the parking lots via the automatic parking lot number plate reading system. And if the parking lot is not equipped with this system, the driver will be able to scan a simple QR-CODE.
